A Time To Sew And A Time To Speak
Prayer
Father God,
We rejoice in the Holy Spirt and thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have revealed to us the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthian 4:6). Yes, Father, for such was Your gracious will (Luke 10:21).
LORD God, by wisdom You founded the earth; by understanding You established the heavens; by Your knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down dew. Father help us not to lose sight of these things. Help us to hang on to wisdom and understanding, common sense and discernment, for they will be life to each of our souls (Proverbs 3:19-22).
Fear of You is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding (Job 28:28). Thank You for divine providence of wisdom and understanding; for common sense and discernment.
Divine wisdom proclaims, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Wisdom explicitly asserts there is “a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak” (Ecclesiastes 3:7).
Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, we are torn. Now is the time to sew. We have been silent, now is the time to speak!
Lord, help! Help us mend the unraveling of our divine founding. Give us unlimited courage to stand up for the divine ideal that shaped our nation. To stand up for Your truth and the truth of the American founding. To push back against the diabolical lies of leftists.
Therefore, we come before Your throne in our time of need. Help us to speak boldly for Your truth and Your justice. Give us boundless valor to speak! Help us to “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks for a reason for the hope that is in us; and may we do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when we are slandered, those who revile our good behavior in Christ may be put to shame” (1 Peter 3:15-16).
Help us to take a hard stand against the sinister ideal, morphed in so many ways, posited by Karl Marx! Who is Karl Marx but a creature who rejected his Creator, even though “what can be known about God is plain to everyone, because God has shown it to everyone” (Romans 1:19). Apparently he isnt’t that smart after all! Even now, he is a rotted corpse in a grave, with no hope. Yet power-hungry people today live and breathe the vicious, inhumane, and failed theories of a rotting corpse! Those who have been given over to their sins worship Marx’ maniacal opining! Please God, rescue them from the devil’s snare. Restore the conscience of each one. Only You can do it.
Oh Lord, in this evil generation, help us to always stand up for You! We should “have no fear of those who have put their hope in a rotting corpse, nor be troubled, but in our hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy” (1 Peter 3:14-15). Lord God, we seek to please You, never coddle to some human, whether dead or alive, rich or poor, black or white, light brown or dark brown, male or female, civil or uncivil. For we worship no one but You, the One True God.
Give us valiant hearts, courageous spirits, and quickened minds to do our part in advancing Your Kingdom on earth, in sharing the Good News of the Gospel, and being a big, bold, beautiful beacon of the grace and freedom found in Jesus Christ.
In every way, give us confidence and boldness to act, for this is a time to sew and a time to speak—to push back against the enemy so that Your Kingdom may be advanced. We fully trust Your wise and sovereign timing and guidance.
By the authority of Your Word, we know that “the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer” (1 Peter 3:12). Thank You Holy Trinity for hearing our prayers.
Heavenly Father, we are trusting in Your providence, mercy, and love. You are “able to make all grace abound to us, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, we may abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8) for Your glory. And glorify Yourself through us, as we, by grace, strive in our prayers, asking You to bless our nation, so that the USA will continue to be a sanctuary of Liberty and Charity and Peace.
