Screwtape’s Letter Re Shadow Campaigns: Laying Out Their Words Before The Lord
C. S. Lewis’ iconic wit and irony have allowed millions a spectator’s view into the demonic machinations of Hell’s chicanery in its attempts to secure the damnation of human souls.
So subtle are Satan’s minions at indoctrination and hypocrisy, it is only by the persistent grace of God (whom Screwtape calls “The Enemy”) that anyone is woke to these charlatans.
Though fictional, The Screwtape Letters detail thoughts and situations that are awfully non-fictional. Any Christian can see their own struggles, weaknesses, temptations, and triumphs in Screwtape’s letters of mentorship to his nephew, Wormwood.
On the flipside, the devil’s slitherings are also recognizable in the unhallowed undertakings of Marxist inculcation, i.e., brainwashing, cancel culture, emotional immaturity, incitement of hatred and division, fear, propaganda, deceptiveness, etc., that constantly fill newspapers and textbooks.
The letters, written from the viewpoint of “our father below,” discuss plans, plots, coups, set-ups, and the like, as if destroying the lives of people is the most natural thing in the world, as if these diabolical ideas are somehow superior to those of another person or even millions of people. Screwtape even brags and boasts of his exploits against humanity, never once considering the recipient(s) of his destructive efforts.
Seems it only makes sense that Satan’s demonic legions are all sociopathic.
Nonetheless, it is no surprise that another of “Screwtape’s” letters have surfaced on earth. C. S. Lewis did not write this one, nor is this one fictional. Make no mistake about the authenticity of this one. Every mark of Satan’s wile and tyranny are evident throughout.
Screwtape’s latest letter can be found in article form in Time Magazine, The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.
So audacious and prideful are Satan’s minions in their evil enterprise that, apparently, this current dispatch was written to give proper credit to the serpentine project designers. (Oh! How satan longs to be a Creator!)
Written from the viewpoint of “our father below,” it shares the means and methods by which a shadow campaign “saved an election.” Note that “saved” to a demon means “destroyed,” that is, “damned to hell.” And never mind that this cabal was not elected, appointed, or hired by the American public. Instead, it was self-appointed, led by evil, corruption, immorality, hubris, and funded by the usual globalist thugs.
Laying Out Their Words Before The Lord — Hezekiah Style
During the Summer 2020 Assyrian Invasion, we took the threats and laid them out before the Lord in prayer — Hezekiah Style. Likewise, we are going to pray about this latest Screwtape letter, its past, present, and future threats. Take this article—on a piece of paper, laptop, desktop, cell phone, tablet—and spread it out before the LORD and pray Hezekiah’s powerful prayer from 2 Kings 19:14-19.
In our prayer, Sennacherib is symbolic for the Shadow Campaigners. The Assyrian kings are symbolic of the leftist, globalist donor classes, big tech, mainstream media, politicians, the entire diabolic cabal. As organized and far-reaching as this evil seems to be, God is so way bigger.
Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD and spread it before the LORD. 15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD and said: 2 Kings 19:14-15a
Prayer:
O LORD the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.
16 Incline your ear, O LORD, and hear; open your eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to mock the living God.
17 Truly, O LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands
18 and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were not gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they were destroyed.
19 So now, O LORD our God, save us, please, from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, O LORD, are God alone. (2 Kings 19:15b-19)

Though Reagan’s comments were likely aimed at foreign adversaries, for the most part, they are certainly appropriate for our domestic adversaries today. President Reagan got it: “concentration camps and labor camps… we see [evil’s] final results… conceived and ordered in clear, carpeted, warmed, and well-lighted offices…”. My Christian brothers and sisters, make no mistake, the shadow campaign was conceived exactly in these places and it is the seedling of the same “final results.” That is why we must act. And the one thing we all can and must do is pray.
Sennacherib and Assyrian Army — Spoiler Alert
Read the rest of 2 Kings 19 when possible. It is the quintessential David and Goliath story. As promised in Holy Scripture, our Heavenly Father exalts those who humble themselves, and those who exalt themselves (like Sennacherib or the shadow campaigners), He will certainly humble (Matthew 23:12).
2 Kings 19:20 – Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent this message to Hezekiah: “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer about King Sennacherib of Assyria
And God’s reply to Sennacherib and the Assyrian army:
2 Kings 19:28 – And because of your raging against me and your arrogance, which I have heard for myself, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came.
2 Kings 19:35-36 – For my own honor and for the sake of my servant David, I will defend this city and protect it. That night the angel of the LORD went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When the surviving Assyrians woke up the next morning, they found corpses everywhere…
And the Assyrians all promptly returned to Nineveh where Sennacherib’s own sons assassinated him. In a relatively short time, the Medes and Persians defeated Assyria and took over the entire region.
