Pray For Our Law Enforcement
Did you know that January 9 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day? The Concerns For Police Survivors website says it best:
On January 9th, 2020, partnering organizations in support of law enforcement officers nationwide will promote National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.). In light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally, there is a need to show law enforcement officers that our citizens recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen, in public service to us all.
On January 9th of each year, we will call our nation’s citizens to action in support of law enforcement. Those citizens who appreciate law enforcement and are discouraged about the negative attention being given to law enforcement are encouraged to take time on January 9th to show their support.
Pray For Law Enforcement Officers Daily
A day to show appreciation and support for our law enforcement officers is a great thing. However, officers need our support each and every day. And we can do that by praying for them daily.
Negativity toward law enforcement officers dug its ugly heels in the American soil during the disastrous obama administration. (Praise God we made it through!) Hostility and violence toward these cherished members of our society, promoted by then president obama (!) and his staff, served the leftist/socialist/communist purpose of causing chaos and disrupting the America civil society. That obama targeted this group is evidence of the crucial role law officers play in our Constitutional Republic.
Praise God for the Trump Administration which has done a complete 180 from the previous failed administration. President Trump consistently lifts up and praises the brave and courageous men and women of law enforcement.
The Concerns Of Police Survivors website, lists several actionable items to show appreciation to LEO’s on January 9. The last item says:
Most importantly, if you see a police officer, thank a police officer.
And Pray America Great Again would like to add:
Thank God For Police Officers Every Day!
Praying For Our Law Enforcement Officers
As we Pray America Great Again, let’s pray
- thanking God daily for our law enforcement officers
- for LEO’s divine protection as they put their lives on the line for the safety of citizens
- for LEO’s increased safety
- for godly strength and comfort for those who have lost loved ones
- that God will renew hearts and minds to respect the tough jobs of these officers and recognize their invaluable contribution to society
- that God will restore any broken relationships between communities and those who serve and protect the communities
It’s the least, and most, we can do for these brave men and women.
Keep in mind, Law Enforcement jobs include but are not limited to:
- Police Office
- Detective
- State Trooper
- Sheriff
- Deputy
- Correctional Officer
- Communication Officer
- Police Property And Evidence Specialist
- Security Officer
- And many other criminal justice careers.
