Thomas Paine’s famous quote from The American Crisis has held up well.

The allusion to the Cross and Resurrection is especially timely in view of blue state governors’ diabolical dictates:

…Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the greater the triumph.

Guard Against Tyranny

The Founding Fathers were, by all standards, intellectual giants. Belonging to the rare breed of mankind that possess not only intellect, but wisdom, common sense, and virtue, their revolutionary ideas considered of utmost value the freedom of the individual.

The founders themselves suffered, escaped, and fought against tyranny. Their mastery of the classics instilled within them a respect for the lessons of history. Through their experience and education, together with solid biblical instruction, the founders understood the oppression of despotic leaders of every tendency. Clearly, the propensity for tyranny served as a vanguard in formulating the American Republic and its governing principles.

Remarkably, our founding documents have survived for centuries now. No other nation in history has enjoyed the freedom that marks the fundamental principle of American exceptionalism.

Today in America, however, our founding documents and the civil rights guaranteed therein are being severely challenged. The attack comes from the same type of power-hungry authoritarians that the founders’ careful construction sought to avoid.

As Thomas Paine’s famous quote says: “Heaven knows how to put a proper price on its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.”

The spirit of America encompasses many characteristics. One is the willingness to go the distance and risk everything for that celestial article of Freedom.

Does Anyone Besides The Tyrants Want Tyranny In America?

It causes wonder…

Did the people who fled to American shores in order to live as free people, ever dream that the same type of tyrants from whom they escaped would be “ruling” in America?

Would freed slaves of the Civil War era, having been granted their overdue, yet stipulated, constitutional freedom, want to return to slavery under the same type of tyrant masters?

Would people born in America today, most who admittedly take freedom for granted, ever have dreamed in a million years that dictatorship would be in vogue among a major U.S. political party? (In case it is not clear, this refers to the Democrat Party.)

Democrat Party Tyranny

America has Democrat governors, mayors, and city council members (for goodness sake!) who are as tyrannical as Castro, Hitler, and Stalin. These “leaders” increasingly trample on the Constitutional rights of American citizens. When it seems they can become no more vile and oppressive, their behavior becomes more disgusting.

Democrat Party Sees The Pandemic As An Easy Path To Government Tyranny

This whole virus pandemic—it’s a Democrat dream come true. Note how the fake news narrative keeps changing. They have gone all the way from “flattening the curve” to “no opening until there is a vaccine” to “kids can’t go back to school.”

As the curve flattens, testing increases, confirmed cases lessen, and the weather is no longer conducive to the virus’ lifespan, the blue state dictators have become stricter on lockdowns, businesses opening, gatherings, and the like. Blue states are actually prolonging lockdowns unnecessarily.

Every blue state resident should question this.

Why does hot, sunny Los Angeles, who never had that much of a problem to begin with, need to stay closed for 3 more months? Ask Eric Garcetti. If he is honest, he will say “power, politics, bailouts.”

Why does northern Michigan, whose corona cases have been extremely mild compared to Detroit, need to stay in lockdown? Ask Gretchen Whitmer. If she is honest, she will say “because I’m power trippin’ baby!”

Democrats see this whole pandemic as an opportunity to usher in a socialist America. FDR secured the nation’s first Big Government handouts during the Great Depression when millions were out of work and the economy had gone south.

The Globalist Factor In Democrat Tyranny

Progressives, i.e. globalists, open borders proponents, communists, socialists, comprised of a few extremely wealthy people and their “useful idiots”, are vying for a world government. Look anywhere on the worldwide web where their garbage is posted. They have written time and again, “America is the only thing standing between us and our goal of world domination governed by an international board.”

Notice the absence of the words “elected,” “democracy,” “republic,” “electoral college” or any other terms having to do with freedom of the individual.

To be clear, most of America’s globalists (aka progressives and transnationalists) are Democrats. But some Republicans (aka RINO and establishment) also adhere to progressive ideology (“progressive” is a misnomer, the ideology is actually regressive). John McCain, the Bushes, Mitt Romney are some examples of political establishment types. More chameleons are lurking in media and peripheral groups trying to influence policy. By and large, however, globalists usually identify with the Democrat Party.

Democrat, Leftist, Communist, Socialist, Globalist, Progressive are used interchangeably. They are all the same people.

America Stands In the Way Of Tyranny

Why is America in the way of these reprobates and their world domination? Freedom. Freedom means capitalism, innovation, independence. People not controlled by the government can decide how much or how little they want to participate in society and how much or how little of its benefits they want to enjoy.

See, it really has nothing to do with gender, race, sexuality, or any other “identity politics” categories that leftists use to stir emotion.

The Tyranny Of Identity Politics

Democrats use identity politics to create discord and class warfare. People who have no goals and/or want everything handed to them become “victims,” the face of “inequality.”

Leftists convince women, blacks, LGBTQ, or other minorities, that they are “victims” of this so-called “inequality.” Sadly, they use people “belonging” to each group to engineer the misconception. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have done this type thing to the detriment of black communities for decades.

Notice which group is excluded from identity political categories. White males.

Make no mistake. Plenty of white males have no goals and/or want everything handed to them. (Turn on CNN 24/7 and chances are you’ll see a few.)

On the other hand, millions of America’s women, blacks, LGBTQ, and other minorities are successful.

However, the Democrat Party sycophants take the most personal, defining attribute of a person, turns it into an excuse for failure, and causes people who fail, for whatever reason, to believe that society is to blame for these failures. Democrats then use this situation to incite hatred toward those singled out for blame.

Understand this, blaming your “failure” on society is only valid if you’re an adherent of the Democrat Party. In other words, anyone who is not a Democrat has only their deplorable self to blame. Men, women, blacks, whites, straight, LGBTQ, and other “identity politics” is not a thing if a person is a Republican, Conservative, Libertarian, or Independent.

For instance, one of the greatest Supreme Court Justices in American history is Clarence Thomas. Justice Thomas is black. And a republican. So Democrats denounce him at every opportunity. Rick Grenell, the current Acting Director of the Department of National Intelligence and Ambassador to Germany, is gay. And a republican. So he too is vehemently denounced by the left.

Identity politics is mind-boggling. The secret to understanding it is this: it really doesn’t matter if you are a woman, black, LGBTQ, or any other minority. Democrats use that “label” to incite hatred within the entire “label group” toward non-Democrats. What matters is whether or not a person supports the Democrat Party through no-questions-asked-mind-numbing agreement with their policies, coupled with activism, donations, and/or votes.

The Democrat Party’s double standards are dizzying. But this is what happens when individuals, or groups, do not operate on principle or conviction.

Dems Promise “Equality” But Promote  Tyranny

Remarkably, amidst all this bamboozling, identity targets believe Democrats care about them because leftists a) promise them “equal” standing in society amid all the meanies, b) promise they get accepted to a university or hired for a job, not because of their ability, but not because of their “identity” (reverse racism or as Dems say “fighting discrimination”), and/or c) promise some financial help to balance things between them and evil people with money.

Why? Why do people fall for this sham? Because leftists promise the “victims” that they will bring about “equality.” It’s the same old trick, “If you eat this apple, you will be like God…”? However, the promise’s outcome is not possible.  Thomas Sowell writes,

All kinds of chance encounters—with particular people, information or circumstances [including but not limited to family, economic level, social status, neighborhood]—have marked turning points in many individual’s lives, whether toward fulfillment or ruin.
None of these things is equal or can be made equal. If this is an injustice, it is not a “social” injustice because it is beyond the power of society.
You can talk or act as if society is both omniscient and omnipotent. But, to do so would be to let words become what Thomas Hobbes called them, “the money of fools” (“The Money Of Fools”, The Thomas Sowell Reader, 2011, p. 11).

“…the fundamental difference between equal treatment and equal performance is repeatedly confused. In performance terms, virtually no one is equal to anyone. The same individual is not even equal to himself on different days (“Meaningless ‘Equality'”, The Thomas Sowell Reader, 2011, p. 51).

Why does the Democrat Party keep using the same old trick? Why not really help people and quit lying to them?

Because it is never about helping people, or “equality” or anything else.

It’s about votes.

It’s about a warm body walking into a polling station and checking the box next to an ass.

Illegal Aliens’ In The Quest Of Tyranny

Remember the ballyhoo by the left when President Trump wanted the citizenship question, i.e. legal or illegal, on the census. Census numbers are used, among other things, to allocate congressional districts and to apportion federal funds for welfare and food stamp recipients. Let’s get real, there’s not a lot of illegals who are not considered poverty-level. And, though only U.S. citizens are eligible for food stamps, local governing bodies hand them out to illegals. The more poverty-level residents plus the more who “qualify” for food stamps, equals more federal money to the states.

As double icing and ice cream on the cake, the influx of illegal aliens in a state may also create new Democrat-ruled congressional districts.

Why do new congressional districts matter? When new districts are added, amazingly, the lines are drawn around areas with sufficient numbers of Democrat voters to carry both districts.

Illegals are here illegally so it is against U.S. law for them to vote in U.S. elections. But do you really think Democrat-ruled areas with Democrats running the polling stations care? (See why Voter ID has become a necessity?) And with the promise of subsidies, and sanctuary (yeah, go ahead and break our laws, Democrats don’t respect them and neither should you), illegals make good imported votes for leftist candidates.

In addition to breaking illegal entry and voting laws, illegals don’t pay taxes! They have no skin in the game! Why would an illegal alien care if Democrats gain power and subsequently raise taxes or destroy America’s economic system. They send all their tax-free income home anyway. If things get too bad, they’ll go back to the third world hellhole from whence they came.

Votes and elections are also why the Dems are pushing mail-in voting right now. Their policies are not popular. They cannot win elections. However, numerous ways exist to cheat and scam the election process when warm bodies with addresses and social security numbers aren’t involved.

And then there are the jobs filled by illegal aliens instead of Americans. This keeps the Americans who don’t get the job in constant dependence. It is a terribly vicious game the Democrats are playing with people’s lives.

Within the context of the pandemic, Democrats are wanting to give illegal aliens stimulus checks. Why? So the U.S. will go into greater debt. And to lure more illegal aliens to America. Also, it will keep some from returning home. And of course that means less jobs for Americans. (Go back to the beginning of this section, rinse and repeat…)

For the record, the governor of California has declared that the state will give stimulus money to illegal aliens. (Before the pandemic he promised free healthcare to illegals.) At the same time, he announced that California needs federal bailouts in order to “open up safely.” Currently, he refuses to open CA’s economy though the virus peaked weeks ago. What is wrong with this picture?

Income Redistribution, i.e. Taking Taxpayers’ Money And Giving It To Non-Taxpayers For “Equality”

Leftists “talk” (never do) about “inequality” and “social justice” a lot. “The money of fools”, to use Sowell’s term, serves as justification for “income distribution,” i.e. welfare, government healthcare, etc., to make everyone “equal.”

In reality, the Democrat Party wants everyone totally dependent on government. Sitting at home, unemployed, receiving stimulus checks, the drill should sound familiar.

Taking money from taxpayers, that is, people who work and have goals and have achieved goals, to pay for the ones who don’t, serves to destroy the middle-class. Shutting down manufacturing, airline travel, cruises, small businesses, sports, and so many other non-government dependent businesses, has  helped Democrats to see their vision. Blue states are watching the leftist goal of ruining America by destroying the middle class who own and are employed by these businesses.

In only a few short weeks, the nation has millions out of work, trillions of debt piling up, people, states, universities, and other organizations clamoring for government handouts. The left wants to prolong this nonsense because they want the U.S. to get to a point of no return economically. They want one big group of poverty-level people (mass, masses, collective, means of production, are the socialist terms) who are totally dependent on government subsidies for food, healthcare, transportation, all of life.

Where does all the wealth and prosperity go? Oh, don’t worry. The small group of elitists ruling the nation will have all the money and make all the decisions. They will decide things like whether or not people can go the beach, have a needed surgical procedure, get a haircut, go outside. Don’t worry about how many people can be in your boat though. No one will be able to afford a boat. No one except the ruling class, that is.

Tyranny By Any Other Name

In the current pandemic, it is apparent that the Democrats are attempting to implement the Communist government that they have always dreamed of having in America. Remember obama’s phrase “fundamental transformation of America.” Scary to even think about it.

Last week on “The O’Reilly Factor,” I recalled how Barack Obama spoke in 2008 about the “fundamental transformation of the nation.”

The objective was always to move America away from a nation built on individual liberty and economic freedom and toward a government welfare and dependency state. Socialism, communism, statism, leftism — in the end it doesn’t matter what you call it, because what matters is what’s being carried out…and its consequences.

Thus far, the Constitution, and Christianity (that is another post), have stood in the way of Democrats and their “commie wannabees” turning our nation into a third-world hellhole.

But, have they tried or what?!

Democrats Should NEVER Have Control Of Any Of The Three Branches Of Federal Government Again, That Is, If You Like Freedom

Lord God, help us! The Democrats should never, never, be given any authority in this country again. With the help of the mainstream media, look what they have done with a Republican President and Senate! Lord have mercy on us should they gain control of all three branches of government.

If they should ever gain control, and it is sickening to even think about the possibility, life will be a permanent shutdown. A permanent partial re-opening. And the next virus that China unleashes on the world? It will not be given the time of day.

If Democrat evil sounds far-fetched to you, just think about it. Let it process. Watch what the Democrat Party, their leaders, pundits, and propagandists say and do.

Pray America Great Again Early Days

During the early days and initial planning of Pray America Great Again, we outlined the many things in America that needed to be covered with prayer. Never were truer words spoken than these:

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit” – 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that. James 4:13-15

Definitely, no one knows what tomorrow will bring.

While the planned posts remain on the “to-do” list we find ourselves praying more and more about this pandemic. Not necessarily the disease and the people affected by it, though we do pray about that, but about the harsh repercussions of the virus-imposed shutdowns, lockdowns, and state government overreach.

Praying For Protection From Tyranny Of Socialism

Initially, PAGA planned some prayers regarding socialism. These included a) protecting young minds from the indoctrination of socialism, b) hinder leftist professors from teaching/indoctrinating students with the ideas of socialism, c) open eyes to see the sinister evil of socialism, etc.

But now? We pray for God to protect America and her citizens from the clear and present danger of socialism.

• Note the speed of the economic downturn because of this ridiculous shutdown—a shutdown recommended by leftwing hacks, progressives, and wholly inaccurate models. Who is primarily affected? The middle-class.
• Note the oppression of free citizens, jail, fines, no church gatherings, no peaceful protests, closing of gun stores, cut off regular healthcare, etc., by Democrat governors.
• Note how leftist pet issues were considered as “essential” for “survival”—planned parenthood (open!), cannabis shops and factories, convicted felons and violent criminals released from jail, etc.
• Note the unnecessary prolonging of shutdown in places where the virus has subsided, and/or affected less than .01% of the population.
• Note the latest house bill from the far-left speaker. It is a leftist dream come true. Dems brand it as a virus pandemic relief bill (lie). Dems say it is for “workers”, but ask “which workers?” The small portion dedicated to “workers” goes to illegals, prisoners, and cannabis workers. And millions of regular Americans are out of work(!). The rest of the bill, which would make Karl Marx blush, is bailouts for blue states, tax exemptions for blue states, do you see a theme here?

Does any of this make sense? No. Then what is its purpose? The answer is complete government control of the people., i.e. socialism. And the purpose of socialism is communism.

If Democrats take control of the executive office, this horrific bill stands posed to become law. We can literally kiss America good-bye. Democrats do not care one iota about people, their freedom, or the guarantee of those freedoms in our founding documents! If you don’t believe this, know that we are praying for your eyes to be open!

Informed Voters Are Our Best Protection Against Socialism

Casting a vote in any election should be done as carefully as signing a contract. All the fine print must be read and reviewed. 80% of Americans do not want what the Democrats have to offer. Then why are elections so close? Aside from Democrat cheating, it is because people do not pay attention to what they are voting for.

Richard R. Beeman, late constitutional scholar and Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania wrote:

There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: “A republic, if you can keep it.” The brevity of that response should not cause us to under-value its essential meaning: democratic republics are not merely founded upon the consent of the people, they are also absolutely dependent upon the active and informed involvement of the people for their continued good health.

We must stay active. We must keep ourselves informed.

In all things, we must stand up to tyrants.
