Pleading With God To Heal Fauci And Birx’ Severe Tunnel Vision
This is the first of three prayers related to Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx’ tunnel vision. The second and third prayers are results of the tunnel vision as opposed to the condition itself.
Three Prayers
- An appeal to God to heal Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx’ severe case of tunnel vision.
- Supplication for all people “on hold” for “elective” surgeries.
- Grace and pleading for people suffering from despair over a lost job, a lost or failing business, a lost or failing company, lost healthcare insurance, anxiety over reopening a business, and other economic concerns.
Prayer
Sovereign Lord,
We lift up Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx to You. Thank You for the knowledge You have given them and their dedication to their respective fields.
You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are perfect gifts, imperishable and incorruptible.
Lord God, You are loving, gracious, merciful, and have compassion on all people. You have blessed all of mankind with wonderful and varying gifts and abilities. Yet the things You intend for good, can become tainted because “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Jesus taught that “From within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, …deceit, …slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person” (Mark 7:21-23). This sin nature has a corrupting effect. As believers we thank You for the Holy Spirit Who helps us in our weakness (John 14:17; Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 2:12), and for Christ Whose grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9).
With great humility, we acknowledge our own sinful nature. Only through Jesus’ righteousness may we approach the unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16) and put our pleas at Your feet.
Father, we dare not cast judgment on Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, but pray according to our hearts’ observation and discernment for the good of our country and its citizens.
Please heal Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx of their severe tunnel vision.
You are a Healer of the blind. Give them eyes to see.
Give them eyes to see multiple aspects of a person’s life.
Impress upon them that people are more than charts, graphs, and modeling numbers. We are all human beings made in the image of our Creator God.
People are far more than cells susceptible to viruses. We are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
You created humanity with intelligence, reason, the ability to learn, think, feel, to use common sense. You gave our bodies miraculous self-healing powers. Who would think of making a scab, yet our bodies do it without thought or command. A broken bone weaves itself together and is stronger than before. The immune system builds antibodies to protect against recurrence of disease. Yet, some things can’t be automatic. So You gave us nerves, reactions, memory, to know our own bodies, and how to take care of them. God, how did you think of all of this?
Oh Lord, our lot in life has never been to be shut up in a national, state-run lab to be studied by a couple of government bureaucrats; and that according to faulty models and data. Is this not the seed form of the evil and tyranny by which the whole world was plunged into war?
Father, only You know why President Trump is allowing this to continue. The people of the U.S. elected him to govern the country. They did NOT elect Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx.
Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx have been given free reign to stomp on our constitutional freedoms and inalienable rights. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are gifts that You have given to all people everywhere. The doctors are only looking at coronavirus! Nothing else. Their laser-focus in the tunnel is killing us. And while it continues Father God, the enemy prowls around like a lion “never to let a crisis goes to waste.” God, You hear, You see, You know the Democrat Party are like sharks circling a victim. They see an opportunity to further oppress this nation economically and destroy the middle class. God, open the trenches. Defeat their wicked plans. Protect us from the Democrat Party’s worldly and idolatrous pursuits for power and control, this flagrancy, “pride in achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world” (1 John 2:16).
Father, we confess that only You know the heart of a person. Jesus said, “Your eye [i.e. intention], is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your [intention] is good, your whole body is filled with light. But when your [intention] is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!” (Matthew 6:22-23).
Lord God, whatever Fauci and Birx’ intentions have been so far, let their intentions from this day forward be for good! Give them Your light to overcome tunnel vision. Give them eyes to see each and every individual as a whole person as opposed to a lab rat.
Help us to stay mindful of Paul’s teaching for the church, “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Let us learn, and remember, from this experience and pass it on to those after us, that indeed, satan’s disguises have no limits. He can work through people dressed in a lab coat or a scarf, just as much as a person bearing the label “democrat” or “leftist”.
Father, use Your people who have the greatest hope of all, Jesus Christ, to spread hope to all people of the United States. The hope that this horrific disease will be conquered soon. But most of all, that it, and cancer, diabetes, and everything else are already conquered in eternity. Let this hope along with “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6) spread throughout the world..
Holy God, You alone are sovereign over all Creation. You are our Rock and Redeemer. We praise and worship You.

Dr. Fauci’s mitigation efforts are beyond reproach. Even in life and death situations, he will never abandon social distancing guidelines.
Why Pray For The National Coronavirus Medical Experts?
Because Fauci And Birx Suffer From Tunnel Vision
Both Fauci and Birx, esteemed as they may be, suffer from tunnel vision.
The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines the noun “tunnel vision” as follows:
- Vision in which the visual field is severely constricted, as from within a tunnel looking out.
- An extremely narrow point of view; narrow-mindedness.
- A restricted field of vision as the result of looking through some type of object or a medical condition.
Sound familiar?
President Trump’s Reckless Abandon To The Experts
To date, the greatest criticism of President Trump’s supporters is that he allows such narrowmindedness, i.e. Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, to superintend the entire nation. Moreover, narrowmindedness that is constricted even further by looking through the lens of extremely inaccurate and questionable “models” and “data.”
The use of medical experts in advisory roles during a worldwide pandemic is no doubt wise. Advisers work behind the scenes giving health recommendations. But these “experts” are participating in national briefings. Because they are front-and-center “experts” and because the mainstream media hates President Trump, the doctors are in effect driving policy. This is utterly insane!
The Equivocal Experts
Face it. Dr. Fauci and Birx are, for all practical purposes, bean counters.
Highly specialized, medical research professionals.
They do not see real patients. They do not treat real patients. Likely, neither has seen a real body since being an intern.
They “study” “models” and “data.” (The necessary use of quotations proves the vagueness of these terms.)
Especially Dr. Fauci, a government bureaucrat since the 1960’s. His knowledge is unquestionable. However, his motives are highly suspect. A person cannot live in Washington D.C. for 60 years and avoid acclimation to the bubble. Fauci’s bubble-mindset is obvious while watching his participation in Coronavirus Task Force briefings.
Think about it. If you received a brain cancer diagnosis from Dr. Fauci or Dr. Birx, would you lay your life on the line with a doctor who doesn’t see patients, i.e. doesn’t “practice medicine”; with a doctor who has a guaranteed job, i.e. no accountability; with a doctor who exists in a bubble, i.e. clueless to reality. Wouldn’t you seek a second and third opinion?
Since both doctors are lauded as “experts,” their analysis, techniques, choice of models, etc. remain unquestioned and beyond reproach (especially by the mainstream media present at the briefings).
Acute Tunnel Vision Syndrome
The acute tunnel vision of Drs. Birx and Fauci indicates to some that they are laser-focused on coronavirus, its spread, contagion factor. In reality, they are laser-focused on highly inaccurate “models” produced with guesswork data. Real data was not available when the models modeled. The old adage “Garbage in. Garbage out.” comes to mind.

In addition to making gross errors of judgment, tunnel vision also attacks the arrogance gene of its victims. This creates a disturbing flaw in experts dictating the lives of 330 million people. All people, even Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, have preconceived notions. Fauci and Birx hold jobs where they have never been held accountable, never had a job review, never had the threat of being fired. In the absence of healthy pushback, their preconceived notions have never been challenged, therefore, neither corrected nor confirmed.
In tunnel vision, preconceived notions manifest themselves as “seeing only what a person wants to see.” That is why, the doctors’ assessments of the faulty “data” and “models” they have chosen to use, blinds them to all other studies—and realities.
Real doctors are treating real patients who really have COVID-19 with real medicines. Multiple medical professionals have real clinical experience with varying patients, treatments, trials, and tests. All are making great strides in treating and dealing with the virus at varying levels. This is valuable input for combating coronavirus. Input much more valuable than Fauci and Birx’ models of choice.
However, tunnel vision has blinded the good task force doctors to “data” and work and best practices and results from equally knowledgeable medical doctors. They cannot see the work of others in treating COVID-19, nor will they ever accept it. That is why they belittle and dismiss every idea, every study, every hypothesis, every piece of information that does not come from them, their cronies, or the models and data they have chosen to trust. Every breakthrough is systematically brushed-off.
This detached belittling and dismissal, especially from Dr. Fauci, has the unhealthy effect of stomping on hope. People cannot live without hope. Still, in Dr. Fauci’s briefing updates, and multiple, multiple appearances on mainstream news, he pours pessimism, hopelessness, and worst-case scenarios on the outlook of Americans. People who need hope in the face of their lives being completely overturned.
Expert or not, tunnel vision has no place in ruling every dimension of a nation.
Didn’t Hitler, and other tunnel visionists of the 20th century, try that?
To make a long story short. Since it doesn’t appear that Trump will get rid of Fauci and Birx for the time being, as always, we appeal to our Father God in heaven. The Lord God gave Fauci and Birx their immense and (very) focused brains. Certainly, He can also open their eyes to see outside the bubble.
As long as Fauci and Birx are infected with tunnel vision, they will never give the okay for the United States to “open up.” Never. Already, the Democrat Party is pushing socialism, mail-in voting, etc., you see it in the news every day. Many of their prominent leaders have announced publicly that the pandemic is an “opportunity” to usher in their “vision.” Their vision is a government ruling class, a worker/poverty class, and an annihilation of the middle class, aka socialism.
Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx are either helping the Democrats implement a socialist government intentionally, or unknowingly. And that makes these tunnel vision doctors, either corrupt or inept.
